Appennino
The Apennines are a magical place.
The central part of this biosphere where I live is rich in both human and geological history.
These places, in particular seasonal or climatic conditions, are in constant metamorphosis.
Every photographic outing is always a new discovery.
It is the guardian of small treasures of biodiversity and stories.
Sometimes, while walking along little-known paths, it’s easy to come across marvelous sights, ranging from small insects to amphibians, to extraordinary botanical species that have survived from lost eras.
One often finds remnants of ancient civilizations that have come and gone, as well as war relics from the last world conflict.
It’s a collection of stories lost to memory, where nature, for millions of years,
has woven the fabric of a stunning masterpiece.
On tiptoe, each time I venture in, observe, and am moved, trying to capture all of this in my images.
Enjoy the view.
