Delta del Po
The Po Delta is one of the places I hold most dear.
It is the meeting of a river that finds its sea, its love.
It's a very complex place where nature and man have always been in conflict,
fighting for their own space.
In the last two centuries, the Delta has undergone a radical transformation.
Man’s “failed attempt” to industrially exploit this environment, without much thought for its conservation, has created true oases, islands,
where many species of resident and migratory birds now gather.
These are inaccessible and abandoned wetlands where nature takes care of itself.
Likewise, the exploitation of beaches, fish farming, and the abandonment of unused industrial structures have also created a sort of balance, making these environments unique and fascinating, where man and nature coexist side by side.
This balance allows for the frequent sighting of many animals.
The Delta is vast, and its seasonal and climatic variations provide a rich backdrop,
setting the scene for creating captivating images that, as a storyteller, are hard to resist.
